At the recent VOGUE AI Summit, the future of fashion, technology, and live events converged under a single, immersive roof.
In an era where virtual influencers can command social media empires, we pushed this concept a step further by blending an AI-powered avatar and visuals into a fully staged conference experience - an unprecedented fusion of brand, runway allure, and real-time interaction.
Rather than simply appearing on a video feed, this digital persona was staged as if physically present, using a carefully lit LED backdrop that simulated a runway pedestal. Thanks to anamorphic perspective - an LED “trick” that warps imagery so it looks three-dimensional from the audience viewpoint -
Shudu seemed to stand on an actual platform, her shadow and proportions shifting believably with the stage lighting.
During a panel discussion on “AI and Creativity,” Shudu offered spontaneous answers to moderator questions, tapping into her AI model’s natural language processing. The effect: an uncanny synergy of stage presence and machine intelligence.
From her posture to her nuanced tone, Shudu’s participation humanized the cutting edge of technology for a famously trend-conscious audience.
But the show didn’t end at the main stage. Just beyond the auditorium, we deployed a life-size kiosk screen that allowed individual guests to converse one-on-one with Shudu.
Visitors stepped up, asked questions about the summit, AI in fashion, or even style tips - and watched as the digital model responded in real time, courtesy of the AI logic running behind the scenes.
This side installation proved a magnet for curious VIPs and attendees, offering an experiential aftertaste of the main event’s futuristic punch.
For the summit’s 300+ audience members, it wasn’t simply a talk about AI; it was a lived encounter that might well reflect how future fashion weeks, brand summits, and cultural gatherings are shaped.
In an industry where exclusive couture and forward-thinking editorial content rule, an AI-powered avatar stands as a striking signal of what’s next: events that blend physical presence with on-demand digital intelligence, making the intangible power of machine learning tangible - and stylish - for attendees.

Ai With a Soul
This visual motif, rendered in deep cobalt blues and subtle metallic gradients, tied seamlessly into the event’s branding. Flower arrangements and seating mirrored the same color story, blurring the lines between physical set design and digital artistry. Such attention to aesthetics also carried an underlying technical intricacy.
We orchestrated multiple content streams - Unreal Engine real-time avatars, generative backgrounds, and live camera feeds - via a show-control system that synced lighting cues, Ai avatar and motion graphics.
The result was a continuous, cinematic tapestry: as a speaker concluded remarks on the future of AI-driven creativity, the backdrop transitioned into an undulating wave of color, heralding Shudu’s appearance with an almost theatrical flourish.
Generative backgrounds and cohesive color schemes ensured that the entire set exuded VOGUE-level elegance.
